Abstract

The invention discloses a track element (80) for forming an endless caterpillar track (100), comprising a generally C-shaped rigid member (10) having a base portion (10a) extending transversely to the track (100), a tapered side guide member (10b) on each end of the base portion (10a), and at least one inter-engaging connector member (10c) on each side of the base portion (10a); wherein the rigid member (10) has a coating of elastomeric material (20) which entirely covers the rigid member (10).
