Abstract

Provided is an instrument panel structure that does not require a lid, allows a fuse box to be directly accessed, and enables the maintenance of the fuse box to be more easily performed. The instrument panel structure includes an upper instrument panel (1) and a lower instrument panel (2) that cover surroundings of a steering wheel (H) of a vehicle and a fuse box (3) that is arranged forward of the lower instrument panel (2) in the vehicle. A low end portion (2a) of the lower instrument panel (2) is positioned below a lower end of the fuse box (3) and has an opening portion (4) through which the fuse box (3) is visible. The opening portion (4) is defined by a first inner surface (5) and a second inner surface (6) curving downward and forward from the low end portion (2a) of the lower instrument panel (2) in the vehicle so as to cover visible inside areas of the lower instrument panel (2).
