Abstract

A vehicle seat (10) includes a seat cushion (12) on which an occupant sits, and in which a seat surface (18) is inclined upward and forward, and a seat back (14) configured to support the occupant?s back, the seat back (14) standing from a rear end of the seat cushion (12). A back frame (30) constituting a framework of the seat back (14) has at least two or more columnar members (52a, 52b, 52c) spaced apart from each other in a width direction and one or more cross members (44a to 44c) extending between the two columnar members (52a, 52b, 52c). The cross members (44a to 44d) include a first cross member (44a) disposed at a position to support the occupant?s pelvis. A seat surface groove (28b) extending in the width direction is formed in a middle of the seat surface (18) in a front-rear direction. (FIG. 2)
