Abstract

A tube ice maker comprising a tube ice making unit (13) having ice making tubes (131) arranged in groups of at least two groups where each group of the ice making tubes is arranged to spacing for passageway (132) between each group along the radius or parallel align to the tube ice making unit (13). Plurality of these spacing for passageway (132) between each group of said ice making tubes (131) are substantially aligned with a refrigerant inlet pipe and/or a refrigerant outlet pipe (19) which will allow the refrigerant to disperse into the center or into the other side of the tube ice making unit (13) rapidly to improve dispersal of the refrigerant into each group of the ice making tubes (131) more easily and more rapidly in order to promote even temperature throughout the tube ice making unit (13) thereby enhancing the efficiencies in exchanging heat with the water inside the ice making tubes (131) of the tube ice making unit (13). This allows a uniform height of ice being formed in the upper end of the ice making tubes (131) thereby improving productivity, production efficiency, and quality of the product.
