Abstract

The present invention relates to a transdermal drug delivery process by using microwave irradiation, characterised by the step of: providing macromolecular drug onto a patient?s skin following microwave application onto the skin for the drug permeation; wherein the microwave is irradiated with frequency in a range of 300 MHz to 300 GHz, and power intensity in a range of 0 to 1 mW/cm2.
