Abstract

The present invention provides a method for producing from an ?? sulfo fatty acid alkyl ester salt concentrate an ?? sulfo fatty acid alkyl ester salt containing paste suitable for manufacture of the powder detergent compositions by the spray-drying method, the production method including the steps of mixing an ?? sulfo fatty acid alkyl ester salt concentrate (a) with a water content of 6% or less with an ?? sulfo fatty acid alkyl ester salt containing paste (b) with a water content of 23 to 32% and/or water (c) to obtain a mixture (d) with a water content of 8 to 16%, and mixing the mixture (d) obtained by the above-mentioned step with water (e) to obtain an ?? sulfo fatty acid alkyl ester salt containing paste with a water content of 23 to 32%.
