Abstract
The present invention relates to a system and method for transaction signing on multiple communication channels. In particular, the present inventions relates to transaction signing on a multiple communication channels between a signer component (104) and a signing requestor (106) server. The present invention allows transaction signing to be completed via direct connectivity on the primary network channel, or alternatively via indirect connectivity as performed via intermediation by a proxy terminal in the same physical locality as a user and mobile device, with such terminal having direct connectivity to the requestor server on the network channel of interest. The present invention can perform transaction signing via public-key cryptography, PKC digital signature or Hash- based Message Authentication Code, HMAC authenticator forms with at least one signing component on a mobile device associated with a user (102) of interest, at least one signing requestor (106) interacting with signing component (104) for transaction to be signed by associated user (102) of interest and at least one signing facilitator to verify correctness of signature from client component with respect to transaction of interest.
