Abstract

The present invention relates to a method of reducing formation of free fatty acids (FFA) in plants, the method comprising the step of layering plant fruitlets with a composition comprising at least one lipase inhibitor, wherein the plant fruitlets layered with the composition will have FFA levels reduced by at least 10% compared to untreated plant fruitlets. (Figure 1)
