Abstract

The present invention relates generally to a method for producing gloves having gripping surface, comprising the steps of: coating a ceramic glove former with at least a layer of glaze-forming composition comprising ball clay; drying and firing the coating such that the layer cracks and forms non-uniform pattern thereon; dipping the glove former into a latex composition and curing thereof. The glaze-forming composition derived mainly from ball clay provides a pattern similar to surface of a groundnut shell that renders gripping feature on gloves.
