Abstract

The present invention discloses a cable tie of the type having a flexible strap (110) and a head (100), in which the strap (110) is manipulated to form a loop and locked in the head (100), wherein the head (100) includes a pair of apertures (103) through each of which the strap (110) passes in use, and wherein the head (100) further includes a reinforcing element (104) having a pair of apertures located in register with the apertures (103) of the head, characterised in that the strap (110) is adapted to pass successively in opposed directions through the apertures (103) in the head and in the reinforcing element (104).
