Abstract
Disclosed are a phosphorus-containing polycarboxylate superplasticizer and a method for making the same. The phosphorus-containing polycarboxylate superplasticizer has a molecular weight of 10,000-150,000, and is presented by the following structural formula: The invention employs an esterification product of an unsaturated polyether monomer and a first compound to introduce a benzene ring and a phosphate group structure at a branch end of the phosphorus-containing polycarboxylate superplasticizer during synthesis thereof. The benzene ring enhances the steric hindrance of the branched chain of the phosphorus-containing polycarboxylate superplasticizer, and the phosphate group structure provides the branched chain of the phosphorus-containing polycarboxylate superplasticizer not only with a steric hindrance, but also with an electrostatic repulsion, producing a polycarboxylate superplasticizer with a higher water reducing rate.
