Abstract

The present inventive discloses a mouthwash composition comprising 12 to 14% by weight of virgin coconut oil, 0.5 to 20% by weight of an emulsifying agent, and 70 to 80% by weight of a solvent, wherein the composition inhibits growth of oral pathogens at an effective amount of 2 to 25 mg/mL.
