The present invention relates a hydraulic jack assembly (100) for testing bearing capacity of a pile comprising a cylinder body (110) comprising a casing (112), a bladder (114) attached to the inner wall of the casing (112) and a ring (116); wherein the bladder (114) configured for receiving hydraulic fluid; an inlet (120) configured for receiving the hydraulic fluid and supplying the hydraulic fluid into the bladder (114); characterized by a locking mechanism (130) configured for securing the bladder (114) inside the casing (112) through the ring (116); wherein the locking mechanism (130) comprising a groove formed on the inner wall of the casing (112); and protruding lock structures formed on the circumference of the bladder (114) configured for locking the bladder (114) with the casing (112) through the groove.
