Abstract

A bumper unit for a vehicle is provided with: a bumper (10) that is disposed at a front or rear of the vehicle (1); a pair of lamp holes (10a, 110a) that is formed in the bumper (10) and into which a pair of lamps (5) is fitted respectively so as to be exposed, the pair of lamps (5) being mounted on right and left of the vehicle; a deformation absorbing part (15) that is provided in an intermediate portion (10b) of the bumper (10), the intermediate portion (10b) being located between the pair of lamp holes (10a, 110a), and is made up of a plurality of openings (15a, 15b, 15c, 15d, 15e, 15f, 15g); and a cover (12) that is assembled onto the bumper (10) so as to cover and hide the openings of the deformation absorbing part.
