Abstract

The disclosure discloses an easy-to-cut nickel silver, of which the weight percentage composition is: Cu: 42.5~47.5wt%, Ni: 8.0~12.0wt%, Mn: 4.0~8.0wt%, Bi: 0.05~1.5wt%, and the remaining is Zn and inevitable impurities. The easy-to-cut nickel silver can be processed into bars, wires and other products, and its preparation process includes: melting castingextrusionstretchingintermediate annealingstretchingannealing before product is finishedstretchingproduct. The easy-to-cut nickel silver adopts phase to improve the strength of the alloy while improving the cutting performance of alloy, such that the cutting performance similar to that of lead-nickel silver can be achieved with a low content of Bi. The easy-to-cut nickel silver has a tensile strength = 550 MPa and the cutting performance thereof can reach 80% or more of the cutting performance of C79860, thereby satisfying the needs of household appliances, communication equipment, medical equipment, inspection and control instruments, sports equipment, pen making and other industries.
