Preparation Of Compounds By Using Micro-Organisms
(AREA)
Abstract
The present invention describes a fermentation process for producing an aromatic biomass composition from keratin, comprising the following steps: (a) mixing keratin with carbohydrates, amino acids, mineral salts, guano, protein and riboflavin; and (b) subjecting the mixture to a microbial fermentation, wherein the fermentation is done in water as a medium; at room temperature and in ambient pressure. Most preferably, the keratin is fine pieces of swiftlet feather.
FERMENTED PRODUCT CONTAINING AN EQUOL-PRODUCING MICROORGANISM, BY WHICH THE PRODUCTIVE CAPACITY OF EQUOL IS MAINTAINED, AND PROCEDURE FOR ITS PRODUCTION.
FERMENTATION METHOD, MANIPULATED MICRO-ORGANISMS CAPABLE OF FERMENTING A MEDIUM, MIXTURE, AND FERMENTATION METHOD TO PRODUCE AT LEAST ABOUT 10 G/L ETHANOL AND ONE OR MORE HETEROLOGOUS POLYPEPTIDES
