Abstract

A ventilation device includes a frame unit (2), a vent unit (3), and an air circulating unit (5). The frame unit (2) cooperates with a building (9) to form an air chamber (200) having a vent opening (201) and an outlet (202). The vent unit (3) cooperates with the vent opening (201) and the air chamber (200) to define a first venting pathway (F1), and has a vent slot (311) facing the air chamber (200). A ratio between an area of the vent slot (311) to an area of the outlet (202) is less than 0.33. The air circulating unit (5) includes a window (51) movable between a closed position to block the outlet (202), and an open position where the outlet (202) is unblocked and cooperates with the vent opening (201) and the air chamber (200) to form a second venting pathway (F2)
