Abstract

Provided are a wastewater treatment apparatus and a wastewater treatment method capable of achieving, by a simple apparatus and process,both a sterilization treatment for sterilizing organic matter in water to be treated by ozone and a biological treatment for water to be treated using aerobic microbes. At least an accommodation tank (30) that accommodates water to be treated which is a treatment target, supply means (40) that supplies micronano bubbles containing ozone and oxygen into the accommodation tank (30), and a porous material (58) which is accommodated in the accommodation tank (30), includes at least aerobic microbes, contains carbon as a component, and has a micronano level porous portion are included.
