Abstract

The invention relates to a former (1) for production of a glove, wherein the former has the geometry of a hand with a substantially cylindrical section (2) attached thereto and having a gripping aid (3) which is arranged below the little finger or below the thumb on one of the two narrow sides (5) of the hand connecting the palm and the back of the hand, or alternatively on the extension of one of these narrow sides (5) of the hand in the longitudinal direction of the cylindrical section (2) attached to the hand, wherein the former (1) has a region having a structured surface (4) at the base (6) of the gripping aid (3), which region preferably extends in the direction of the fingers of the hand and is more structured than other regions of the former (1).
