Abstract
A shift lever unit (1) including a shift lever (10) provided at an end with a shift knob (11) and a grooved pin (18) held by the shift lever (10) so as to be displaceable along an axial direction of the shift lever (10) and including a protruding portion (180) which protrudes to an outer peripheral side in a radial direction via a through groove (155) which is open to a side surface of the shift lever (10), the shift lever unit (1) capable of restricting a predetermined shift operation by restricting turning displacement of the protruding portion (180) with turning of the shift lever (10), has the shift lever (10) including a first structure in a movable range in which the grooved pin (18) is displaced in the axial direction in a use state, the first structure restricting a position of the grooved pin (18) in the radial direction and the second structure outside the movable range in the axial direction for assembling the grooved pin (18) from the outer peripheral side in the radial direction. Thus, assembling capability is favorable, and manufacturing cost is easily reduced.
