Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a furniture article, comprising at least one planar working surface; at least one screen panel (101); at least one leg affixed beneath the planar working surface; and at least one housing body (103); characterised in that the housing body (103) affixed beneath the planar working surface to engage the screen panel (101) in an upright position on the planar working surface by using a slidably locking mechanism, in which the furniture article has a slot to receive the screen panel (101) by downward sliding function using the slidably locking mechanism, for positioning the screen panel beneath the planar working surface for expanding the planar working surface, wherein the screen panel (101) is moveable between latched and unlatched positions along a latch axis using a push-latch mechanism disposed within the housing body (103).
