Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for extracting date palm kernels to obtain an extract containing bioactive compounds for health improvement (10). The present invention also relates to an extract of date palm kernels comprising bioactive compounds for health improvement wherein the bioactive compounds are antioxidant and anti-diabetic compounds. Advantageously, the present invention involves a low-cost production. Advantageously, the present invention provides health-improving and health- maintaining properties. (Most illustrative Figure is Figure 1)
