Abstract

To provide a bioreactor and a wastewater treatment method using this bioreactor (1) that can be made smaller than a conventional bioreactor for a simple structure and can reuse wastewater by being installed in a building or the like. The bioreactor includes an outer tank (2), a cylindrical inner tank (3) disposed inside the outer tank and divided into a cylindrical upper part (3a) and a cylindrical lower part (3b) by a partition wall (8), a circulation rate control device (4) provided on an upper part of the cylindrical inner tank, a treated water filtration device (6) provided on an inner side of the cylindrical inner tank and below the vicinity of a liquid surface (5) of treated water, a stirring device (7) configured from stirring blades (7a, 7b, 7c) for stirring the treated water and a stirring motor (7d) for rotating the stirring blades, an air diffusion device (9) disposed on an upper part of the partition wall of the cylindrical inner tank, a wastewater supply port (10) provided on a lower part of the cylindrical inner tank, and a treated water discharging unit (11) from the treated water filtration device.
