Abstract

A hot runner unit (10) includes a nozzle portion (30) and a valve pin (40). The nozzle portion (30) has a material channel (5b) configured to allow molten material (M) to pass through the material channel (5b), and an ejection port (31) configured to eject the molten material (M) into a cavity (61) of a mold (60). The ejection port (31) is disposed at an end of the material channel (5b), and the material channel (5b) is formed inside the ejection port (31). The valve pin (40) is inserted inside the material channel (5b) and is configured to open and close the ejection port (31). The nozzle portion (30) has a ventilation section (33) that provides communication between the material channel (5b) and an outside, and is configured to discharge gas (G) from the material channel (5b) to the outside via the ventilation section (33).
