Abstract

The present invention provides a water treatment or water remediation adsorbent material that is sprayed on water bodies. The remediation adsorbent material comprises coal ash mix, and a combination of fly ash and bottom ash. The adsorbent material of the present invention has a capability to reduce the malodorous components and raw scum. The adsorbent material covering work is valuable for improving water and sediment environments in the bay and provides an effective method to mitigate the organic matter enriched coastal sediment problems.
