Abstract
An agent for reducing the concentration of phosphate in wastewater comprising, respectively with respect to its total weight, > 50.0% by weight of calcium carbonate and at least 1.0% by weight of an iron salt, wherein the calcium carbonate has a solubility in water of less than 20 mg/1000 mL of water at 25C.
