Abstract

The invention concerns a cap (1) for a rigid container comprising a base (2) that is designed to be mounted on the opening of a container, a lid (3) that is secured to the base via a hinge (4), and an opening device comprising a tampering indicator (13), characterized in that the tampering indicator comprises a tab (13) that is linked to the lid (3) by a breakable bridge (30), and a lug (17) that is integral with the base, the lug (17) comprising means (18) for immobilizing the tab (13) that are designed to hold the tab (13) on the base (2) when the lid (3) moves from the closed position to the open position.
