Abstract

A ceiling fan includes: a cylindrical connecting portion to be fixed to a ceiling with an axial direction thereof being a vertical direction; a motor disposed on a side opposite to the ceiling in the axial direction of the connecting portion with respect to the connecting portion; a rotor blade to be rotationally driven by the motor; a cover holding portion (5) fixed to the connecting portion on a side of the ceiling with respect to the motor; and a cylindrical cover portion fixed to the cover holding portion (5) to surround the motor and the connecting portion from an outer circumferential side thereof in a state where two cover-portion- separating-components sandwich the connecting portion. The cover holding portion (5) includes a first hook portion (5b) on an end face on the ceiling side. The cover portion includes second hook portions that hook the first hook portion (5b) on an inner circumferential side, and is held by the cover holding portion (5) by the second hook portions being hooked on the first hook portion (5b).
