Abstract

The present invention provides a toothbrush (1) capable of suppressing 5 bending of a neck part (4) in a whole of a brush main body (2) even when a head part (5) is thinned and the neck part (4) is narrowed, and achieving both excellent gripping performance of a handle part (3) and favorable operability in an oral cavity. The toothbrush (1) includes a brush main body (2) that includes a handle part (3), a neck part (4) extending from a tip of the handle part (3), and a head part (5) provided at a tip of the neck part (4), in which a plurality of bristle bundles are tufted on a bristle-tufting surface (5a) of the head part (5), the brush main body (2) has a shape in which a thickness of the neck part (4) continuously increases from the head part (5) toward the handle part (3), a thickness D1 of the head part (5) is 2 to 4 mm, a minimum thickness D2 of the neck part (4) is 3 to 4.5 mm, and a maximum thickness D3 of the handle part (3) is 13 to 16 mm.
