Abstract
The present invention discloses formulated topical agents comprising a compound pheophorbide a in photosensitizer for use in photodynamic therapy (PDT) particularly in skin disorders, skin lesions, or skin cancer. A topical agent compound pheophorbide a of the present embodiment is extracted from Clinacanthus nutans and Strobilanthes crispus. In this present invention, combining the photosensitizer with light irradiation in the PDT for treating skin disorders, skin lesions, or skin cancer.
