Abstract

The present invention relates to an autonomous vehicle (100) and a method of operation (800) thereof. In particular, the present invention provides an autonomous vehicle (100) and a method of operation to perform autonomous driving in a controlled environment wherein the autonomous vehicle (100) is configured with at least one sensor module (110) having a plurality of sensors for acquiring data from the environment, at least one computing module (120) for processing data acquired from the environment; and at least one controller module (134) for providing at least one output to control movement of the vehicle. The sensor module (110), the computing module (120) and the controller module (134) of the autonomous vehicle (100) are further integrated with a processing module (200) having machine readable instructions for controlling various functions for a visual-based autonomous effect.
