Abstract

An object is to provide a toothbrush that has a thin-walled head portion, has a high feeling of cleaning rear teeth or the like, and even when many of bristle implantation holes formed in the head portion have a large-diameter, warping of the head portion and pulling-out of a bristle bundle at the time of bristle implanting are suppressed. A toothbrush (1) includes a resin handle body (1a) including a head portion (10) and adopts a flat wire type bristle implanting, in which a thickness of the head portion (10) is 2 mm or more and 4 mm or less, a ratio of first bristle implantation holes (11a) having a diameter of 1.8 mm or more is 10% or more, and in a region a of a bristle implantation portion in a front view of the head portion (10), when a total volume of the first bristle implantation holes (11a) and second bristle implantation holes occupying a region A from the bristle implantation surface (10a) to a depth of 1 mm toward a rear surface (10b) is defined as VA (mm3), and a volume of a resin portion (10c) occupying a region B from the rear surface (10b) to a depth of 1 mm toward the bristle implantation surface (10a) is defined as VB (mm3), VA/VB is 0.50 or more and 1.00 or less.
