Abstract

An incinerator includes a primary combustion chamber (12) including a drying stage (24), a combustion stage (25), and a post-combustion stage (26) in this order from the front side to the rear side, and a secondary combustion chamber (13) connected to the outlet side of the primary combustion chamber (12). The primary combustion chamber (12) includes primary combustion-chamber rear supply nozzles (40) on a rearside ceiling wall (23) and/or a rear wall (22). The secondary combustion chamber (13) includes front supply nozzles (44). The primary-combustion-chamber rear supply nozzles (40) draw unburned gas generated in the combustion stage (25) toward the rear wall (22) by gas flows supplied from the nozzles (40). The front supply nozzles (44) draw, toward the front side, unburned gas generated in the drying stage (24) and cause the unburned gas to flow into the secondary combustion chamber (13) by gas flows supplied from the nozzles (44).
