Abstract

The invention is about a device (10) for tagging trees and its implantation. The device (10) comprising an elongated anchoring plug (20) with a free end (24), and at least one wired body having a proximal end (14) attached to the anchoring plug (20), the wired body (12) extending from the anchoring plug (20) in a parallel alignment concentrically with the longitudinal axis of the anchoring plug, and having a rigidity lesser than a rigidity of the anchoring plug (20), and the wired body (12) having a diameter lesser than a diameter of the anchoring plug (20). The invention finds use in tagging trees and pairing information with trees.
