Abstract

Plunger type valve in module, has top mounted throttle and is biased by weak spring which keeps valve from its seat, and is closed when through flow exceeds a certain value. Reaction velocity is variable by size selection of chamber at opposite end of valve plunger and adjustment of throttle N.R.V.s (arbitrary combined into one unit). Valve control is external. Normally closed by-pass needle valve between pressure inlet valve and pumping station inlet, may serve to open the plunger valve.
