Abstract
An agent for improving the quality and productivity of animals, esp. eivestock, contains flue dust, pref. in combinbination with soluble alkali(ne earth) metal salts (pref. Ca, Mg, K and opt. Na salts). The mixts. pref. contains 1-20 (5-12, esp. ca8) wt.% flue dust. The agent can be given alone, in a premix or in the animal feed. The daily dose of flue dust is pref. 0.1-2.5 mg/kg (small animals, e.g. poultry), 0.1-15 mg/kg (medium-sized animals, e.g. piglets) or 0.1-10 mg/kg (large animals, e.g. cattle).
