Abstract

The bearing bush is of the type comprising a plastic ball cage (1) containing one or more ball tracks and having straight load-bearing portions parallel to the direction of movement and straight non-load-bearing portions, with curved connections, the cage having means (8) providing a seal relative to the reciprocating component. At least one of the end faces (4) of the cage is provided with a number of bores in which corresponding projections (5) of a plastic cover (6) fit with a push fit. The outside diameter of the cover equals that of the end face of the cage. The cover has a central bore with a projection (7) fitting a recess in the seal ring (8).
