Abstract

The belt conveyor is for transport along a curved path and comprising conical end rollers (1) around which an endless belt (2)k runs with an upper and a lower, return, part, the outward side of the belt being provided with retaining means (3) engaging a fixed guide rail (5) to prevent the belt from moving inward. The outward side of the belt projects beyond the rollers and the retaining means (3) are provided on the non-carrying side of the projecting portion such that these means and the guide rail are contained in the space between the upper and lower part of the belt.
