Abstract

Guard is for mounting behind the central heating radiators, between them and the walls. It comprises a metal plate (6) clad on the rear side with heat-insulating material (7), and with supports (8) by which it is mounted roughly halfway between the rear of the radiator and the wall, the lower edge beding roughly at the same height as the bottom of the radiator (1). The top can be bent forward above the latter. The supports can extend towards the radiator, for fixing to it, and the metal plate can be of aluminium foil, glued to cardboard, three-ply, or wooden board froming the insulating material, and flexible.
