Abstract

The container is cylindrical and fitted with a sealed funnel extension (5) at its base. The container is sealed at the top by a lid (10), and the inside of the container has a flexible membrane (7) which is allowed to float freely in the liquid contents of the capsule. When the capsule is opened by cutting off the base of the funnel (5) some of the liquid contents will run out. The remainder is forced out when the lid is punctured and connected to a pressurised fluid. The membrane is forced downwards to control the flow.
