Det er tilveiebrakt nye fremgangsmåter for modulering av en immunrespons ved anvendelse av behandling med T-celler som behandles ex vivo. Oppfinnelsen tilveiebringer en løsning på problemene som angår behandling av forskjellige sykdommer, spesielt sykdommer med malign beskaffenhet. Oppfinnelsen tilveie- bringer dessuten fremgangsmåter for behandling av sykdommer av ikke-malign beskaffenhet, ved modulering av et pattedyrs immunrespons.
