Abstract

Den foreliggende oppfinnelse angår et Intemet-hurtiglagringssystem og et arrangement og en fremgangsmåte for å betjene anmodninger om Internet-informasjonsfiler i et Internet-hurtiglagringssystem. Systemet er bygget som et to-rekke hurtiglagringssystem. For å redusere belastningen på en sentral hurtiglagringstjener (130) sammenkobler et mellomliggende arrangement (l 10) de lokale tjenerene (100) i systemet med den sentrale hurtiglagringstjeneren (130). Dette arrangementet kommuniserer med de lokale hurtiglagringstjenerene i samsvar med en protokoll anvendt for kommunisering mellom hurtiglagringstjenere. Når det anmodes om en Internet-informasjonsfil fra den sentrale hurtiglagringstjeneren anvender arrangementet Structured Query Language. Således er den sentrale hurtiglagringstjeneren (130) i første rekke viet til å besvare rene SQL- spørringer.
