Abstract
Oppfinnelsen gjelder fagområdet keramikk og angår et keramikknettverk, som f.eks kan anvendes som dybdefilter, og en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling og anvendelse av samme. Formålet med oppfinnelsen er å tilveiebringe et keramikknettverk hvor den mekaniske fastheten er forbedret og/eller hvor en anvendelsesavhengig struktur kan tilpasses spesielt. Formålet med oppfinnelsen oppnås med et keramikknettverk av keramikkforbindelsesstykker som er to- eller tredimensjonalt forbundet med hver- andre, hvor hulrommene i keramikkforbin- delsesstykkene har en tverrsnittsflate som er sirkelformet eller tilnærmet sirkel- formet eller i det vesentlige sirkelformet eller et konvekst eller flerdobbelt kon- vekst omriss. Formålet oppnås ytterligere ved en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av et fibernettverk ved anvendelse av polymerfibre og/eller naturfibre og/eller andre fibre, hvor fibrene likeledes har en tversnittsflate som er sirkelformet eller tilnærmet sirkelformet eller i det vesent- lige sirkelformet eller et konvekst eller flerdobbelt konvekst omriss. Formålet ifølge oppfinnelsen oppnås også ved anven- delse av et keramikknettverk i kontakt med væsker og/eller gasser.
