Abstract

Oppfinnelsen konfigurerer en fremgangsmåte for å delignifisere masse hvori et trinn av et to-trinns oksygendelignifiseringsanlegg unngås. Spesielt muliggjør et masse- gjennombløtetrinn en massestrøm som skal blandes med en alkalitilsats og holdes i en tilstrekkelig tidsperiode for å tillate en alkalihydrolyse-utvasking av fargede materialer fra massen og en svelling av massefibrene. Deretter kombineres massestrømmen med en oksygentilsats og føres gjennom en blander. Produktet av blanderen overføres til en trykkreaktor hvor oksygen reagerer med lignin fra massefibrene. De svellede massefibrene forenkler oksygenreaksjonen med lignin og fjerning av ytterligere fargede materialer.
