Abstract

The foot bed (1) comprises an anatomically formed blank (2) with a top layer (13) consisting of a heat-retaining material, especially a woolly material. Fastened to the underside of the top layer is a heat-insulating layer of a closed-pore foam, of maximum 3 mm thickness. An aluminum foil layer is located between the foot-sided surface of the blank and the underside of the top layer. All layers are glued to each other or connected by seams (15).
