Abstract

Polyester med tertiære karboksylgrupp- er, bestående av: (a) 8,1-35 mol av en alifatisk eller sykloalifatisk polyol, (b) 9,1-36 mol av en alifatisk, syklo- alifatisk eller aromatisk polykarboks- ylsyre, (c) 1,6-2,8 mol av en alifat- isk, sykloalifatisk eller aromatisk forbindelse som inneholder en tertiær karboksylgruppe, og enten en primær eller sekundær karboksylgruppe eller hydroksylgruppe. Polyesteren fremstill- es i flere trinn. I det første trinn fremstilles en prepolyester ved konden- sasjon av (a) en alifatisk eller syklo- alifatisk polyol med (b) en alifatisk, sykloalifatisk eller aromatisk poly- karboksylsyre. Det siste trinn består i å kondensere denne prepolyester med (c) en alifatisk, sykloalifatisk eller aromatisk forbindelse som inneholder en tertiær karboksylgruppe, og enten en primær eller sekundær karboksylgruppe eller hydroksylgruppe. Polyesteren anvendes i varmherdende pulverblandinger, blandet med et tverr- bindingsmiddel som et |3-hydroksylalkyl- amid. Blandingene 'gir belegg med ut- merket overflateutseende, god fleksi- bilitet og god værbestandighet.
