Abstract

The rear and side parts (1) are made of flexible textile surfaces whose recoil force is distributed evenly between side and rear. The bust and rear parts as well as both sides have closure edges and thread-free outer surfaces. Rear and side parts (1) consist of an outside layer and an inside layer so the outsides form the closure edges and the edge of the outside layer is folded inwards towards the edge of the inside layer so that at the closure edges the inner layer is sandwiched singly by the outside layer on one side and sandwiched doubly on the opposite side. The bust part has an area of reduced eleasticity and the support part (2) is reinforced by a flexible textile inlay arranged between outside and inside layers as specified. The inside layer is knitted or woven and the closure edges in overlock stitch.
