Abstract

The device has a tubular rotatable housing (2) with blade. On a closed end side (3) of the housing forming a stop for the pipe is a mandrel (4) which has a smaller radial extension than the housing and whose centre axis is parallel off-set from the centre axis of the housing. Its upper sleeve line is below the upper sleeve line of the housing. A swivel lever (5) in the upper sleeve area of the housing extends into the initial area of the mandrel and at the front end of the lever is a blade cutter having a steep flank. The distance from the blade to the closed end side of the housing corresponds to the predetermined distance from the end side of the fitted pipe to the incision point.
