Abstract
loniske væsker immobiliseres på en funksjonell bærer som bærer eller inneholder én komponent av den ioniske væsken, eller en forløper for en slik komponent. Den ioniske væsken kan immobiliseres via anionet ved behandling av en bærer med en anionkilde, f.eks. et uorganisk halogenid, før den ioniske væsken påføres eller dannes. Alternativt kan den ioniske væsken immobiliseres ved å ha kationet kovalent bundet til bæreren, f.eks. gjennom silylgrupper, eller inkorporert i bæreren ved at bæreren syntetiseres i nærvær av en egnet base. De immobiliserte ioniske væskene er anvendbare som katalysatorer for eksem-pel for Friedel-Crafts-reaksjoner.
