Abstract

Den foreliggende oppfinnelse angår et installasjonsarrangement for et fartøys fremdriftsenhet omfattende en modulær motorenhet (1) som befinner seg på utsiden av fartøy slegemet, hvilken motorenhet omfatter en motor (25) og en propeller (5) og er ment å bli forbundet til en struktur (3) forbundet til fartøyet. Ved enden (7) motsatt av propellen (5) omfatter motorenheten (1) monteringsanordninger anordnet for å montere motorenheten (1) longitudinelt til korresponderende monteringsanordninger (6, 12) anordnet ved strukturen (3) forbundet til fartøyet. Den foreliggende oppfinnelse angår også en fremgangsmåte i denne kontekst, i henhold til hvilken fremgangsmåte motorenheten (1) er tilpasset, ved hjelp av en longitudinal forflytning i retningen av motorakslingen (26) til et monteringsstykke omfattende en forbindelsesplugganordning (12) hvilken samvirker med korresponderende anordninger ved motorenheten for å tilføre elektrisk kraft til motoren. Den foreliggende oppfinnelse angår også en forbindelsesplugganordning omfattende fleksible forbindelsesanordninger innkapslet i et isolasjonsmateriale.
